Χτες
(ξημερώματα Τρίτης) έγινε στο Nokia Theater η απονομή των 66ων Primetime Emmy
Awards.
H ακαδημία βράβευσε τους καλύτερους (και όσους ήθελε να
βραβεύσει) της περσινής χρονιάς με τον Seth Meyers του Late Show να
παίρνει τα ινία της παρουσίασης απο τoν Neil Patrick Harris, με σειρές να
παίρνουν πολλές υποψηφιότητες με το καλημέρα, και άλλες να δείχνουν οτι
είναι οι κυρίαρχοι.
19 είχε το Game of Thrones, 18
το νέο αλλά ωραίο Fargo (αύριο το review της 1ης σεζόν), 12 το Orange is the new Black, ενω πολλές
πήραν και τα House of Cards, True Detective και American Horror Story.
Κανένα όμως δεν μπόρεσε να κουνήσει το Breaking Bad και τον Bryan "Heisenberg" απο τον θρόνο του.
Συγκεκριμένα εκτός απο την κατηγορία Ά Γυναικείου Ρόλου σε Δράμα, που δεν είχε υποψηφιότητα, όλα τα
υπόλοιπα τα πήρε και τα έβαλε στην μεγάλη τροπαιοθήκη του.

Fargo πήρε αυτό της καλύτερης mini-series, Benedict Cumberbatch
βραβεύτηκε για το Sherlock όπως και ο Martin Freeman που ήταν υποψήφιος
και για το Fargo (πολύ καλή η χρονιά και για τους δυο), ενω στους
γυναικείους ρόλους το American Horror Story πήρε δύο βραβεία για
την Kathy Bates και Jessica Lange.

Μοναδικό
σχόλιο είναι οτι μάλλον το HBO μετανιώνει το οτι έβαλε το True
Detective μαζί με της σειρές, ενώ κάλλιστα θα μπορούσε να
κονταροχτυπηθεί μόνο με το Fargo και το Sherlock στις mini-series.
Ο Matthew
McConaughey δεν θα μπορέσει να επαναλάβει την ερμηνεία του αφού δεν θα
ξανα επιστρέψει στο True Detective, αλλά πολύ καλά ξέρουμε οτι το Oscar
και τη χρυσή σφαίρα την πήρε περισσότερο για το True Detective παρά για
το Dallas Byers Club.
Τώρα που το Breaking Bad συνταξιοδοτήθηκε, έχουν μια ελπίδα και οι άλλοι υποψήφιοι...
